We Care Home Health Services is locally owned and operated by a Lethbridge family. The We Care office in Lethbridge has been operating since July 1991. Randy and Nancy Fabro were the franchise owners until July 2003. At that time Stacey and Cyndi Malitowski took over as the franchise owners/directors and became the first franchise in Canada to be operated by a second generation. Cyndi Malitowski was the General Manager of the company and when the opportunity arouse, she and her husband wanted to continue the vision of her parents. We Care Lethbridge is supported by a local management team that includes a Senior Registered Nurse Care Manager, two Registered Nurse Care Managers, Human Resource Manager, Safety Officer, Team Leaders/Mentor Care Aides, and a highly trained community staff. There are many benefits derived from being part of a franchise system. We have the strength of a national network which provides us with expertise in both clinical and business disciplines, and the management of government contract services, combined with the entrepreneurial, hands-on decision making of local owners. Local ownership brings with it commitment, passion, and first hand awareness, knowledge, and understanding of the objectives, issues and challenges confronting the Chinook Health Region and its clients. Currently, our management, support and community staff of 50 individuals provides care to over 300 clients. We Care provides home health care services on behalf of several government agencies, including, but not limited to, Chinook Health Region, the City of Lethbridge, Alberta Brian Injury Network, Veterans Affairs of Canada, Family Support for Children with Disabilities, Health Canada, Self Managed Care Clients through the Chinook Health Region, and multiple long term care facilities supported by the Health Region. We are also the only service provider to be approved for Home Care services in Southern Alberta for the Workers Compensation Board. We Care Lethbridge have other contracts through various insurance providers; auto insurance, employee benefit carriers, and long term care insurance. We Care Lethbridge also provide services to many private paying clients throughout the region.
