In honour of We Care Home Health Service's 25th anniversary, We Care announced a new award for employees. We have named the award after Roslyn Cabot, who was the Franchise owner and Director in the Montreal We Care office for over 10 years. Roslyn passed away in 2008 and we have named the award after her to honour her commitment and dedication to We Care and the clients in the community.
The criteria encompasses many qualities such as Professionalism, Dedication, Caring and Compassion, Competency, Community Focus, Quality Performance, and Training and Education.
We Care North Shore is pleased to announce that this year's recipient of the Roslyn Cabot Employee Award of Excellence is Adelfa Anover. Adelfa has been with We Care since July of 1997. She was in the second group of employees ever hired by the office. She is a single mom that still has time to be an active member of the North Shore staff. When we graded her based on the criteria sent out to the network she scored 100%! Adelfa finds the time to come to the in services that are offered to the staff. She volunteers with us at any of the fund raising events that we participate in and she is very well liked by the clients and families she comes in contact with. One client called the office to tell us Adelfa is "brilliant", "she sings while she works and does an excellent job". Another client told us "she never wastes time she just goes about her work, I think she's wonderful." We feel Adelfa represents the best of We Care in everything she does with us.

At the annual Christmas party, Adelfa received a Certificate of Excellence and a watch with the We Care Logo as well as having her name engraved on a plaque that will hang in the office. |
