• Appointment Escort Services
  Our trained personnel will accompany you to personal appointments, doctor appointments, shopping, etc.
  
• Infant and Child Care Services
  Home Support Worker can provide childcare relief for children of all ages, as well as assist with home making and personal care requirements.
  
• Respite Care
  We are dedicated to providing relief for family caregivers for a few hours a day, or around-the-clock. Our caregivers are trained to tend to the needs of your loved one(s), while you attend to other responsibilities and obligations.
  
• Palliative Care

• Alzheimer Care
  We Care is well equipped to deal with clients who are suffering from many forms of dementia, both in the early and later stages. With our support, We Care can make both the client and family caregivers more comfortable, helping to ease the burden of responsibility such care can bring. • Foot Care Services
  Preventative foot care will significantly improve comfort, mobility and general foot health. We provide cutting and filing of nails, softening and buffing of corns and calluses, application of non-medicated padding massage, treatments for infection, peripheral vascular disease, ulcers or diabetes.
  
• Parkinson Care
  We Care has been trained by the Parkinson Society to care for clients who are diagnosed with Parkinson disease. It is important for family members to realize that with our help, we can make both the Client and the family caregivers more comfortable, and help ease the burden of responsibility such care can bring.
  
• Professional Nursing Services
  In home nursing services, private duty nursing, and temporary staff relief services.
  
• Shared Care
  For the elderly, the chronically ill or disabled adult, shared care provides a cost-effective alternative to a full shift of personal support or homemaking hours. Shared care can be provided for as little as 15 minutes a day making it a very cost-effective program to maintain independence within your own home to assist with activities of daily living any time of the day i.e. bathing, shopping, laundry, meal preparation, medication reminders, vacuuming, etc. Shared Care provides physical, psychological and social support to the Client and their families.
  
• 24 Hour Live-in Care
  Live-in care is provided to individuals who require 24 hour care. The caregiver provides all levels of personal, psychosocial and domestic care at a level appropriate to the individual client. Individualized, client-centered training can be provided in accordance with the client's plan of care.
  
• Brain Injury Care
  We work with individuals with brain injuries and their families while they transition from acute and/or rehab care institutions to a manageable home environment. Offering a variety of services, our specially trained Support Workers have the knowledge to anticipate and address the challenges that clients with brain injuries face. Institutional Health Services

• Staff Relief
  We Care offers temporary/permanent staff relief to businesses, institutions and specialized care facilities, on a contract or fee-for-service basis. Our temporary/permanent staffing personnel range from Registered Nurses, Registered/Licensed Practical Nurses and Nursing Attendants, to Health Care Aide and Personal Support Workers.
  

Occupational Health Services

• Elder Care Services
  While many enjoy a relatively healthy retirement initially, the effects of aging eventually catch up with everyone. Have your Clients planned for the financial impact of staying in their homes if they or a loved one needs care, for example for Alzheimer disease, Osteoporosis, severe arthritis or Stroke? Our service always begins with a no-charge assessment by a specially trained nurse who'll recommend just the right person or team. (We even help our Clients navigate the Health Care system.)
  
• Drug and Alcohol Testing
  Drug Tests

  • 6-Panel Quick Test is available for immediate results. Lab confirmation of any non-negative test results is also available, and recommended.
  • DOT and non-DOT collection of split sample urine are sent to the laboratory. Negative results are available within 48 hours. Our Medical Review Officer confirms any non-negative results.

  Alcohol Tests

  • Breath Alcohol testing is performed using Evidentiary Breath Test machine and Saliva Alcohol screening is performed with QED Saliva swabs, which meet U.S. DOT and non-DOT requirements

• Osteoporosis - Bone Density Testing
  Osteoporosis affects 1.4 million Canadians. Bone Density testing utilizes a Clinical Bone sonometer, an ultrasound machine that scans the heel for bone weakness. Results are produced in 10 seconds, indicating a low, medium or high risk for developing osteoporosis. Based on the results, the Certified Health Professional, can provide individualized recommendations on diet, exercise and lifestyle changes or possible referral to your doctor for more detailed testing. The procedure meets the clinical standards of practice across Canada. We Care can set up a customized, cost effective clinic at your workplace, or testing can be arranged on an individual basis.
  
• Pre-Employment Nursing Medicals
  Pre-employment assessments are conducted by Occupational Health or Registered Nurses and are designed to determine if an employee is fit to perform the physical requirements of the job. Customized to accommodate your company's needs and job requirements, these assessments offer an effective screening tool to identify potential safety risks and establish a baseline for periodic surveillance. We Care's pre-employment nursing medicals are a comprehensive assessment and include:

  • Vitals signs, height and weight, urinalysis
  • General physical assessment and range of motion assessment
  • Kraus Weber back assessment

• Periodic Assessments & Surveillance
  Our assessments include the following:

  • Audiometric test (hearing tests)

  • Fitness to wear Respiratory Protective Equipment
  • Mask Fit (Qualitative Fit Test)
  • Periodic testing, assessment and surveillance

Our Heart Health Wellness Clinics will assist your Employees in understanding the risk factors associated with developing cardiovascular disease and life style changes that can improve their health.

  Our Heart Health Wellness Clinics are designed to assist your employees by:
