The following is a letter to the editor of the College of Nurses of Ontario publication The Standard:
The nurses who work in home care in Ontario should be commended for their professionalism. Recently, I became infected by a soil bacterium that is normally not serious, but in my case, it got into a bone. Home care nurses from We Care Home Health Services came daily to tend to me.
They were impressive people who knew what they were doing, I felt perfectly safe with these pleasant folks.
